One of the most historic aircraft in the world will be touring the UK next month—and one of the highlights of its visit will be when it flies into Durham Tees Valley Airport.
News that the plans for new access road to open up development opportunities at Durham Tees Valley Airport is among schemes to be supported through the Government’s Local Growth Fund programme has been described as ‘a welcome recognition of the importance of the airport in driving forward the area’s economy.’
The long-standing relationship between Durham Tees Valley Airport and the airline KLM has been underlined with the visit of a 70-year-old aircraft.
