You won't want to miss the Maudromdam model village, or the Panorama Mesdag, which is a cylindrical painting 160m² in size, and dating from 1881. It's also, not surprisingly, the biggest painting in Holland.
Even though it's a thriving modern capital city, it's possible to be on the beach in a few minutes. The popular holiday resorts of Scheveningen and Kijkduin are just outside of The Hague.
