‘Help us meet your needs’ Airport urges business

As Durham Tees Valley Airport moves forward in its drive to maintain - and develop - services for the region’s business community it is seeking the views on those who matter most…local companies and their key decision makers.

Today the airport is launching a major Business Travel Survey which is seeking views on a wide range of factors aimed at gaining a better understanding of how the airport can help to meet business needs.

As well as asking survey respondents to indicate their preferred airports, the survey is seeking views on the key factors affecting the choice of air service, views on existing services and ways in which the passenger experience could be improved, together with information on key destinations which are important to local firms.

Says Head of Aviation Development Chris Harcombe “We are really asking the local business community to work with us in taking forward the objectives in the Master Plan to provide the air services which can support our local economy and companies.

“One of the key ways in which they can help is in providing the information which we need to demonstrate business demands in our discussions with both new and existing airlines. They want as much information as possible when considering which services to operate and this survey can make a major contribution in ensuring we can make a strong case for Durham Tees Valley.”

The survey is available via the home page of the airport’s recently launched new website www.durhamteesvalleyairport.com. The survey takes around five minutes to complete and all responses will be treated in the strictest confidence.
