Durham Tees Valley Airport is giving its backing to a major charity fund-raising event tomorrow (Friday April 26).
The Airport will be welcoming TFM Radio’s helicopter pilot Marky Mark and presenter Brian Moore when they drop in as part of the ‘Cash for Kids Day’ which has teamed up with CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.
Says Durham Tees Valley Airport Manager Shaun Woods “This is a great local fund-raising campaign and we were delighted to show our support when we were approached by the Cash for Kids organisers and asked if we would be prepared for Marky Mark to bring his helicopter to the airport tomorrow.
“We have given our backing by waiving landing fees and, while they are the airport, the TFM team will be collecting donations from corporate sponsors around the region.”
