A. The airport is open 7 days a week between 4am and 10pm.
Q. Do I need to pay to drop off and pick up passengers?
A. There is a dedicated drop off and pick up car park which is situated to the side of the terminal. This car park allows 15 minutes free parking after which fees will be incurred. A full price list of our car park can be found by clicking here.
Q. Do you have a Park & Stay car park?
A. There is a dedicated Park & Stay car park which is situated to the front of the terminal. On entering this car park fees will apply. A full price list of our car park can be found by clicking here.
Q. Can I pre-book the Park & Stay car park?
A. You can pre-book your Park & Stay parking and make a saving on the gate rate when you book online. Pre-book your car parking online now.
Q. Where do I pay for my car parking?
A. There are 4 pay machines at the airport, 2 are situated in the arrivals hall and 2 in the drop off and pick up car park. These machines take notes and credit cards.
Q. Are taxis available outside the terminal building?
A. There is a taxi rank available directly outside the terminal building.
1AB Taxis are the approved suppliers of taxis from the airport and are situated on the Taxi Rank located directly in front of the terminal in a premium location.

Q. Can I arrange for a hire car on arrival at the Airport?
A. Yes, car hire companies are located within the arrivals ‘meet & greet’ area. Services are provided by Europcar, Avis and Hertz. For more information, click here.

A. Durham Tees Valley Airport welcomes passengers with reduced mobility. It is our aim to provide an efficient and streamline service and to assist; we ask that, wherever possible, passengers advise the airline of any specific needs at the time of booking. Q. Can I carry liquids in my hand luggage?

Q. Where should I put electrical items? In hand luggage or hold baggage?
A. It is recommended that electrical items are packed within the main (hold) baggage that is checked in. When packing electrical items, ensure that they are packed so as they are easily visible and identifiable by security personnel. Sharp items (i.e. nail files, scissors, etc) should be packed in your main baggage and not carried in hand baggage. A. In common with the vast majority of Airports, Durham Tees Valley Airport operates a non smoking policy throughout all public areas.
